Composition Structure And Application Of Hydraulic Oil Filter Elements

The hydraulic oil filter is a component used in the filter for filtering. It can filter lubricating oil and industrial liquids. It is usually installed in the inlet filter of the hydraulic system to filter out metal particles and contaminants in the liquid medium to protect the normal operation of the machine equipment. When the hydraulic oil passes through the filter, impurities and particles larger than its pore size are retained on the surface of the filter, while particles smaller than the pore size pass through the filter into the system. In this way, impurities and contaminants in the hydraulic oil are effectively filtered out, ensuring the cleanliness and normal operation of the hydraulic system. The materials of the hydraulic oil filter are mainly stainless steel woven mesh, sintered mesh, iron woven mesh, etc. The filter materials used are mainly glass fiber filter paper, chemical fiber filter paper, wood pulp filter paper, etc.

The components of the hydraulic oil filter include filter media, outer core, end cover, sealing ring, support core and bypass valve, etc. These components together ensure the filtering performance and service life of the hydraulic oil filter.

1. Filter media: The core part of the hydraulic oil filter is the filter material, which is usually made of high-quality glass fiber, metal fiber or activated carbon. These materials have good filtering performance and can effectively remove particles, moisture, gas and other pollutants in hydraulic oil.

2. Outer core: The external protective structure of the hydraulic oil filter element is the exoskeleton, which is usually made of high-strength metal materials such as stainless steel, aluminum alloy, etc. The design of the exoskeleton requires good sealing performance to prevent hydraulic oil leakage, and at the same time it must have a certain pressure resistance to withstand the pressure of the system.

3. End caps: End caps are provided at both ends of the hydraulic oil filter element to fix the filter material and the inner and outer skeletons, and at the same time play a sealing role. The end caps are usually made of rubber or metal, with good sealing and pressure resistance.

4. Sealing ring: A sealing ring is provided between the end cap and the skeleton of the hydraulic oil filter element to ensure the sealing performance of the filter element. The sealing ring is usually made of oil-resistant, temperature-resistant and pressure-resistant rubber material, which can effectively prevent the leakage of hydraulic oil.

5. Support core: A support skeleton is also provided inside the hydraulic oil filter element to support the filter material so that it can maintain a stable shape during the filtration process. The support skeleton is usually made of wire mesh or plastic material, with high strength and stability.

6. Bypass valve: Some hydraulic oil filter elements are also equipped with bypass valves. When the filter element is blocked, the bypass valve can be opened automatically to allow the hydraulic oil to continue to flow around the filter element to ensure the normal operation of the system. The bypass valve is usually designed with spring loading, which has good reliability and stability.

Hydraulic oil filter elements play an important role in the industrial field. They can effectively filter out impurities and particles in the liquid to ensure the normal operation of the system. The selection of hydraulic oil filter elements is very important. Different working environments and media require different types of filter elements. For example, in special environments such as high temperature and high pressure, filter elements made of special materials that are resistant to high temperature and high pressure are required; and when filtering corrosive media, filter elements made of corrosion-resistant materials are required. During use, due to the accumulation of pollutants, the hydraulic oil filter element needs to be replaced regularly to ensure its filtering effect. The replacement steps of the hydraulic oil filter element generally include: first depressurize the system, then open the drain valve at the bottom of the filter to discharge the old filter element, then install the new filter element and tighten it, and finally re-pressurize the system. It should be noted that during the replacement process, impurities should be avoided from entering the system to avoid affecting the normal operation of the system. In addition to regularly replacing the hydraulic oil filter element, the filter system also needs to be regularly inspected and maintained. For example, the filter housing and internal structure should be cleaned regularly to prevent dust and dirt from affecting the filtering effect; the sealing performance of the filter should also be checked to ensure that no leakage occurs.

In short, the hydraulic oil filter element is an indispensable component in the filter system, and its maintenance and care are essential to ensure the normal operation of the system. Only by doing these things well can the service life of the filter be extended and production efficiency be improved.
