Bowey SZLYC series bipolar high-efficiency vacuum oil purifier is primarily used for vacuum filtration of new oil, imported oil, ultra-high voltage transformer oil, instrument transformer oil, and other relatively valuable oils. It can also be used for vacuum oil filling of transformers. Because the two-stage vacuum significantly improves the system's vacuum level, it can remove large amounts of water and gases at lower temperatures, thus avoiding the deterioration of oil quality caused by repeated heating of conventional oil purifiers. It also more effectively removes water, impurities, gases such as methane and ethane, and free carbon from the oil, significantly improving the oil's flash point and withstand voltage. It can also be connected in parallel with a regeneration unit to accelerate decolorization and acid removal, further reducing dielectric loss and acid value, and improving insulation strength. For new oil with a breakdown voltage of at least 25 kV, the SZLYC series two-stage high-efficiency vacuum oil purifier can achieve a breakdown voltage of over 70 kV, effectively shortening transformer installation and maintenance time.

Water Removal
Free and dissolved water in oil deteriorate by reducing lubricity, causing oxidation, and acid formation. Water-free oil is less susceptible to oxidation and organic acid formation even when exposed to high temperatures. The presence of organic acid compounds causes corrosion. Water accelerates thermal degradation of oil, generating particulates or carbonaceous matter. The presence of water also causes oil polymerization, forming large molecules. Polymerization changes viscosity, generating solids that are harmful by clogging orifices and causing wear on system components. The SZLYC high-efficiency vacuum oil filter can remove 100% of free water and over 95% of dissolved water.
Air Removal
The SZLYC high-efficiency vacuum oil filter can remove 100% of free air and up to 75% of dissolved air. Air is removed as the oil passes through the vacuum tank. Other gases are reduced to trace amounts depending on the cycle time.
Removing Solid Particles
To remove suspended particulate matter, the SZLYC high-efficiency vacuum oil filter uses three stages of filtration to remove particles that cause abrasive wear in bearings, pumps, and valves. It also removes sludge that can accumulate in the gap between the valve core and the valve sleeve, causing seizure and instability in electro-hydraulic servovalves. This level of filtration in insulating oil prevents electrical breakdown caused by the bridging effect of charged particles.
Vacuum System
It consists of a vacuum tank, vacuum pump, condenser, liquid storage tank, and air supply system. The optimized structural design significantly increases the surface area of ​​the oil in the vacuum system and maximizes the oil's travel distance, allowing moisture and gas to escape fully. This machine utilizes an advanced defoaming system, eliminating the oil spraying common in similar products.
Filtration System
It utilizes a three-stage filtration system. The coarse filter at the oil inlet protects the oil pump and extends the service life of the main filter. A two-stage fine filter is located after the pump, ensuring rapid oil cleanliness. The filter media utilizes a special, gradient-pore-size glass fiber material, enabling layered filtration of particles of varying sizes, significantly extending the filter element's service life. The refined filter element structure effectively reduces the surface velocity of the filter media, ensuring stable filtration accuracy.
Heating System
The system utilizes segmented, step-by-step heating, achieving a surface heat load of less than 1.0W/cm², preventing overheating and oil deterioration. The oil temperature is adjustable from 0 to 100°C, automatically controlled, and equipped with a protective device that automatically shuts down when the oil level is low, preventing dry heating and heater damage.
Automatic Control System
This unit utilizes a series of automatic control instruments, including a frequency converter, liquid level transmitter, temperature sensor, and vacuum sensor, to collect and process various operating data. The central processor automatically controls the entire unit and monitors its operating status. Various protective devices (overload protection, overvoltage protection, phase sequence protection, and abnormal operation shutdown protection) ensure safe operation.
Overall Structure
The unit's integrated bridge structure reduces its size. A fully removable oil tank ensures oil-free operation on the floor, reducing environmental pollution.
